Why a new economic model?
The capitalist market economy has run its course. It produces crises, exhaustion, inequality — and still insists it’s without alternative. But when a system generates nothing but stress instead of enabling a good life, it must be rethought.
BEconomics is neither utopia nor ideology, but a system design that redefines prosperity: More being, less having. More democracy. More sustainability. For that, we need a new understanding of the economy — and a new, realistic image of the human being.
What are BEconomics?
An ownerless, community-oriented model that combines efficiency, democracy, and sustainability.
Why do we need it?
Because old-school economics externalizes crisis costs and deepens social division.
How does it become real?
Through systemic transformation, not moral appeals. Through majorities, not niches. Through real security instead of permanent anxiety.

Every economic order is based on a certain image of the human being. And classical economics reduces us to a caricature: the Homo Oeconomicus who only thinks of personal advantage.
Other existing human images are likewise extremely reduced: there’s the climate-conscious softie, the tit-for-tat type, and the almost will-less person steered by their environment.
Why do these human images still haunt economics? You’ll find the answer here.
eople are neither ego machines nor saints. They are rational and emotional, cautious and solidaristic, dependent on trust and fair conditions. This is Homo Varius. Sometimes this way, sometimes that. Never fully predictable.
This shows: We don’t need to change people — we need to change systems so they make cooperation easier. This is the foundation of BEconomics: an economic model that takes people seriously instead of trying to bend them.
